REQUIRED for all students who speak (or live in homes) with a language other than English
REQUIRED until scoring proficient
MUST be given February 4th-March 22nd

3. WIDA ACCESS English Language Assessment
Includes four parts:
Listening
Reading
Writing
Speaking
Online (except for Kindergarten and Writing 1st-3rd)
Given over 4 separate days during the school day
(Kindergarten given in one 45 minute session)
Students will not miss lunch, recess, or Specials to take the test

Click on Sample Items to understand the expectations at each tier and grade level.
