How many automobiles were registered in the U.S. in 1910? How many in 1920? How many in 1930? How did the car change the way people live?

Automobile Handout In what year was automobile production the highest?
About how many cars were produced that year? In what year was automobile production the lowest? Characterize the general economic conditions in the United States during the decades of the 1920s & 1930s.

ASSIGNMENT: Roaring 20s Journal
DIRECTIONS: You are to create a journal, with at least four personal entries from the 1920s. Your journal entries should show that you understand the chosen topics from the era. The journal must be typed using 12 pt font (creative fonts are OK). COVER: Include a (1) Title, (2) Image appropriate for the Roaring 20s, and (3) your name and class period. The cover can be hand drawn or computer generated. JOURNAL ENTRIES: The length of each journal entry is a minimum of a ½ page so that the total journal is not less than two pages. SLANG TERMS: You must use 10 terms that originated in the 1920s in your journal. Be sure to use them correctly and underline them.
