Morality Morality refers to people’s values, what they view as right or wrong. Generally laws reflect the values that the majority of society share and hold. However, sometimes laws and morals may clash and be controversial.

Examples include: Abortion Death Penalty Euthanasia Same Sex Marriages Legalization of Marijuana Pornography Physical Disciplining Children Censorship Animals Rights Cloning Sunday Hunting/Fishing Gun Control Others…?

Conflicting laws & morals
What if laws conflict with ones morals? In Canada, if you do not share these moral values, you must still abide by the law BUT you do have the freedom to speak out against it AND try to influence the changing of the law. In Canada, laws do change!
