What do we want to do next?
Vision Statement The Dulwich College Dual Language Model Where children learn in an environment rich in both English and Mandarin Today, more of the world’s population is bilingual or multilingual than monolingual. In addition to facilitating cross-cultural communication, this trend also positively affects cognitive abilities. Researchers have shown that the bilingual brain can have better attention and task-switching capacities than the monolingual brain.” Viorica Marian & Anthony Shook The Dana Foundation, USA ----- Meeting Notes (5/13/13 09:45) ----- across all dulwich colleges in china

Our Vision for Your Child
Children at Dulwich will learn in an environment rich in both English and Mandarin, enabling them to move seamlessly between both languages. Within the framework of the English National Curriculum, linguistic development in both languages will receive equal attention and be tailored to meet each child’s individual needs. Children who are bilingual are better prepared to succeed in life. ----- Meeting Notes (5/13/13 09:45) ----- tailored to meet individual needs - will explain a little more in next slide
