Large mountain ranges are located at the bottom of the oceans.
The age of the sea-floor rock is not the same.
At mid-ocean ridges lava is being forced out & creating new ocean crust.
The youngest rock is located here.
This process is called sea-floor spreading and is the force pushing the continents.
