3 In the beginning SIUC currently: 8 colleges, 57 units
Original plan: 5 colleges (+ education), 16 schools Current plan: 6 (?) colleges, at least 23 schools Some program shifts, seven units remain separate Computing Psychology Criminology and Criminal Justice Engineering (3 schools) Math (if approved).

4 Approved schools Biological Science Applied Engineering and Technology
Earth Systems and Sustainability Health Sciences Justice and Public Safety Psychological and Behavioral Sciences (Accountancy: no change).

5 Five with the Interim President
Approved by (most) faculty Human Sciences Management & Marketing Rejected by faculty votes Agriculture Analytics, Finance, & Economics (grievance pending) Education (grievance pending).

Math (faculty proposed) Transportation Civil and Environmental Engineering (faculty proposing) Mechanical Engineering (faculty proposing)

7 FA settlement FA drops most reorganization grievances, admin postpones new proposals till 1/1/2020: Architecture, Art and Design Humanities Media, Communication and Performing Arts Social Science and Multicultural Studies Faculty college proposals Arts and Media (CAM): on track? Social Sciences and Humanities (CoSSH): off track.

Some units sans colleges Remaining colleges left broken Chaos re contracts, budgets, P & T Many faculty oppose proposed college structures New programs in the works BS in Nursing (3 TT in year 1, 6 in year 5) Doctorate in Physical Therapy (1 director, then 3 TT 2 NTT) Doctorate in Occupational Therapy (1 director, then 3 TT 2 NTT) BS and MS in Analytics (overloads, then hires) Great news, but transparency or strategy?

9 The current crisis Campus admin approval despite faculty no votes
Agriculture Analytics, Finance, and Economics Education Precedent of imposing admin plans over faculty votes Old BOT delegated approval to Interim President Dorsey Will he do full review or rubber stamp? How to influence Dorsey, BOT, IBHE? What sorts of alternatives will get a hearing?
