Context The Christian’s Liberty (chapters 8,9, 10)
Chapter 8 – Brethren's love for one another = don’t let liberty be a stumbling block for a brother to sin (8:13) Chapter 9 – Paul’s personal example Chapter 10 – Instruction to the strong

Ensamples Ensample (:11) = Example (:6) Can be positive or negative
Positive Examples – pattern to be imitated Elders – ensamples to the flock (1Pt. 5:3) Paul, etc. - ensamples to follow (2 Thess. 3:9) Negative Ensamples – patter of behaviour to be avoided 1 Cor. 10 – don’t follow their behaviour as it led to destruction!

I Would Not That Ye Should Be Ignorant
ALL came out of Egypt, but all didn’t enter the promised Land. 5 “all's” in the first 4 verses – the people were greatly blessed 1. All were under the could – Cor. 10:1 – Ex. 13:21-22 2. All passed through the sea Cor. 10:1 – Ex. 14:21-22,29; Heb. 11:29 3. All were baptized unto Moses –1 Cor. 10:2 4. All Ate the same spiritual meat -- 1 Cor. 10:3 – Ex. 16:4,15,35 5. All drank the same spiritual drink – 1 Cor. 10:4 – Ex. 17:1-7
