A person who voluntarily offers himself or herself for a service or undertaking with out getting paid.
Example: giving your time to others and not asking or receiving pay.
I went and shoveled the neighbor's drive way for free.

3. What volunteering means to me
When I volunteer I try to make people happy and show them Gods love to them through me. My goal is to put a smile on peoples face. I like doing things for people that might not be capable of doing it them self's.
