How Do I Use Friction Free 3000 In An Engine? Change oil and filter (standard use filters recommended). Start engine, allowing it to reach operating temperature. Stop engine, shake bottle, and immediately add Friction Free 3000 to the oil reservoir. Dilute with last quart of oil if possible. Immediately restart engine and drive vehicle for at least 10 minutes. Repeat with each normal oil change. 12
