3. Zeffiro I wanted us to read this for two reasons:
[1] to see how another researcher reflects on method, methodology, and having to change their approach(es)
[2] to see how he comes up with a non-essay genre of a product that is directly informed by his subject of inquiry

“While it is crucial to devise a research plan, and acquire a sense of one’s research context, it is also necessary to allow for a margin of change and/or uncertainty.”
Immersion
“To be positioned in a particular research space, is to be situated within a specific historical, cultural, and social context.”

“A researcher speaks through their informants, and is cognizant of their own situatedness.” (Ethical considerations)

[2] connect/apply that characteristic to your own research process at this point in time
Form groups of 2-4 and each group will share out their discussion
