We can’t help – we don’t have a first aid kit Everyone can help We might make things worse and get in trouble. We should do what we can to help First aid is only for experts – we shouldn’t try to help. Blood! I don’t know what to do! Let’s call 999 – it’s better than doing nothing It saves lives

If someone: is unresponsive and you need to check if they are breathing… is choking… has a bad bleed… has a broken bone… is unresponsive and breathing has a nosebleed… has a burn… How to help: Keep the burn under cold water for at least ten minutes. Help the person to lean their head forward and pinch the soft part of their nose for ten minutes. Turn them on their side and tilt their head back to keep their airway open. Keep the injury Still and Support it. Press on the bleed and keep pressing. Hit them firmly on their back up to five times. Look, listen and feel for breaths.
