Online Survey - All English classes have been asked to participate in an online survey. This survey is optional. If you choose not to do it, return the paper packet to me. You can complete it AFTER you finish the SRI Listen while I read the information about the survey.

SRI – we have to take it again
Log on to the computer. If it doesn’t work, tell me. Don’t TOUCH the computer cart. After you are finished the SRI, raise your hand. Then, go on and do the survey. The link will be on my webpage –

Period 5 – when you are finished the SRI
1. Go do the survey. The link will be on my webpage – 2. Complete the “Rose for Emily” response if you didn’t do so before break. 3. Read “This is How the Internet is Rewiring Your Brain”. 4. Then analyze how credible the source is for the topic. Use our bellringer information. Write the analysis on the back. (where there is a big blank space)

Homework – pd 5 You have to finish the response for “A Rose for Emily.” It is due next class. This assignment is what we did following the SRI

Period 7 – after the SRI test
Go do the survey. The link will be on my webpage – Read the “Pro – Con” packet and answer the four questions on the back. Then, somewhere in the packet where there is room, answer the following questions: What is the premise of the “Pro” piece? What is the premise of the “Con” piece? Evaluate the authors Who are the authors of the pieces? Why are they credible? Whom do you find more believable and WHY?

Period 8: When you are finished SRI
Go do the survey. The link will be on my webpage – Complete the “Rose for Emily” response if you didn’t do so before break. Read “Pro/Con – Should Congress consider comprehensive climate change laws” Answer the four questions on the back. Then analyze how credible the sources are for the topic. Use our bellringer information. Write the analysis on the bottom of page 5 (where there is a big blank space)

Period 8 homework Hand in the “A Rose for Emily” response if you haven’t done so already. Finish the “Pro/Con” article and assignment.
