2 The Large TPC Prototype
Field cage by DESY PCMAG 1T Magnet from KEK Cosmic trigger from Saclay endplate Mechanics from Cornell Beam trigger hodoscope by Nikhef Goal: cosmic-ray test and beam test (e-, 5 GeV) of readout panels (Micromegas, GEMs and ‘Gridpix’)

3 Micromegas panels: in 2008-2009: 1 panel at a time, centre of the detector.
Various technologies for the resistive layer are being tested Size 17cm x 21 cm T2K electronics (1 module)

8 GEM panels : pads 1.25 x 5.25 mm. Thick Double GEM (100 microns) + gating, equipped with PASA+ALTRO (from ALICE) In preparation in Japan (data taking in February)

Panel width : from 278 to 454 About 6800 pads per panel
