Sampling Frame: The study included all members, male and female, of the Utah State Bar admitted between 1985 and 2005 (irrespective of their current employment situation).

Sample: The original mailing list included 5,520 names
Sample: The original mailing list included 5,520 names names were dropped from the list when the U.S. Postal Service returned notification letters as undeliverable. The adjusted mailing list contained 5,321 names.

Response Rate: 2,730 recorded interviews in the data file
Response Rate: 2,730 recorded interviews in the data file were partial interviews (did not complete the entire survey). There were a total of 2,668 usable surveys. The adjusted response rate is 50.14% (2,668/5,321) from the entire population.
