5. Use images to sort story into correct order
Use images to sort story into correct order. Stick on whiteboard in story mountain and rewrite story together using adjectives. Focus on scary story starters, how story mounts and scary adjectives.
Pupils will then write stick pictures into books and write own version of the story. Use ‘Puppetpal’ if possible.
Plenary - read stories to each other. Peer assessment - highlight adjectives used
