Directions for periods 4 and 8
I am out today. We will continue with the work from Outliers when I see you on Wednesday.
In the mean time, you are to read the attached story and answer the reading guide questions.

2. Just a note
We will be using this story by Sandra Cisneros in a future lesson. So if you read it well now and answer the questions thoughtfully now, you will do better in that future lesson.
I will be examining and grading your responses. COPIED responses will result in ZEROES for everyone involved and no possible way to remove that zero.

3. You may use a dictionary.
Return the dictionaries to their proper places.
You MAY NOT move out of your assigned seat.
When you are finished, hand in the story and questions. If you take the assignment with you, you will receive a zero for it.
Work on your unit project if you have extra time.
