1 DISLOCATION By Kim Ji MIN

2 What is Dislocation? Dislocation, also known as luxation, means that a bone is out of it’s place. For example, an arm can be out of it’s place, because of bone dislocation. Dislocations can happen with many bones, such as the fingers, arms or legs.

3 What are the symptoms of Dislocation?
When a bone is dislocated, it is hard to tell if it’s broken or dislocated. But usually if you’re dislocated, your bones sore and you do not bleed. Plus, your arms are not normal-It’s like just swinging around, painfully.

4 How do we fix dislocations?
For emergency, the best way I recommend is to go to the hospital as fast as you can. But before, if available, you should wrap a bandage around the dislocated part. This stops the bone from moving into any other direction which can stop additional injuries.

5 How do we take care of the dislocated bone after it’s fixed?
When a dislocated bone is fixed, it may can dislocate again. And if the same part continues to dislocate, this becomes a habit, like even if you sneeze hard sometimes your bone can dislocate. To prevent this, you shouldn't use too much of your dislocated bone. This will at least decrease the chance of getting your bone dislocated again.

6 The end Thank you for listening to my presentation.
I hope you learned some new things about dislocation.
