The Earth is Jehovah’s Paul used this to claim all things are clean 1 Corinthians 10:23-26 1Co 10:23 ¶ All things are lawful, but not all things are profitable. All things are lawful, but not all things edify. 24 Let no one seek his own good, but that of his neighbor. 25 Eat anything that is sold in the meat market without asking questions for conscience' sake; 26 FOR THE EARTH IS THE LORD'S, AND ALL IT CONTAINS.
8
The Earth is Jehovah’s Paul used this to claim all things are clean
This also implies all things are for us Every plant …and every tree which has fruit yielding seed; it shall be food for you Genesis 1:29 Every moving thing that is alive shall be food for you Genesis 9:3

The Earth is Jehovah’s In what regard does God hold the creation? He saw it as good – Genesis 1:31 He has a covenant with it – Jeremiah 33:20 Ge 1:31 ¶ God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. Jer 33:20 "Thus says the LORD, 'If you can break My covenant for the day and My covenant for the night, so that day and night will not be at their appointed time, Ge 8:22 "While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, And cold and heat, And summer and winter, And day and night Shall not cease.“ Ge 9:5 "Surely for your lifeblood I will demand a reckoning; from the hand of every beast I will require it, and from the hand of man. From the hand of every man's brother I will require the life of man.
10
The Earth is Jehovah’s God has passed that authority to man Man subdues the creation – Genesis 1:28 Man does not dwell in harmony with nature Nature is NOT our mother Man rules nature; nature serves man Ge 1:31 ¶ God saw all that He had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. Jer 33:20 "Thus says the LORD, 'If you can break My covenant for the day and My covenant for the night, so that day and night will not be at their appointed time, Ge 8:22 "While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, And cold and heat, And summer and winter, And day and night Shall not cease.“
11
The Earth is Jehovah’s God has passed that authority to man Perhaps for this reason creation shares the curse The soil is cursed – Genesis 3:17 The beast is cursed – Genesis 9:3 w/ 1:30 Ge 9:5 "Surely for your lifeblood I will demand a reckoning; from the hand of every beast I will require it, and from the hand of man. From the hand of every man's brother I will require the life of man. Ge 3:17 ¶ Then to Adam He said, "Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, 'You shall not eat from it'; Cursed is the ground because of you; In toil you will eat of it All the days of your life. Ge 1:30 and to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the sky and to every thing that moves on the earth which has life, I have given every green plant for food"; and it was so.

Man’s Stewardship The Sabbath Rest - Leviticus 25:1-7 God commanded that land lie fallow When left undone this defined the captivity Le 25:2 "Speak to the sons of Israel and say to them, 'When you come into the land which I shall give you, then the land shall have a sabbath to the LORD. 3 'Six years you shall sow your field, and six years you shall prune your vineyard and gather in its crop, 4 but during the seventh year the land shall have a sabbath rest, a sabbath to the LORD; you shall not sow your field nor prune your vineyard. 5 'Your harvest's aftergrowth you shall not reap, and your grapes of untrimmed vines you shall not gather; the land shall have a sabbatical year. 6 'All of you shall have the sabbath products of the land for food; yourself, and your male and female slaves, and your hired man and your foreign resident, those who live as aliens with you. 7 'Even your cattle and the animals that are in your land shall have all its crops to eat. 2Ch 36:21 to fulfill the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed its sabbaths. All the days of its desolation it kept sabbath until seventy years were complete.
13
Man’s Stewardship The Sabbath Rest - Leviticus 25:1-7 Defining Integrity – Job 31:38-39 Job defined integrity as working his land Job 31:38 "If my land cries out against me, And its furrows weep together; 39 If I have eaten its fruit without money, Or have caused its owners to lose their lives, 40 Let briars grow instead of wheat, And stinkweed instead of barley." The words of Job are ended.

Man’s Stewardship The Sabbath Rest - Leviticus 25:1-7 Defining Integrity – Job 31:38-39 Mindful of the Beast – Deuteronomy 25:4 Command to be mindful of animals An example of righteousness Proverbs 12:10 De 25:4 "You shall not muzzle the ox while he is threshing. Pr 12:10 ¶ A righteous man has regard for the life of his animal, But even the compassion of the wicked is cruel.

Man’s Stewardship The Sabbath Rest - Leviticus 25:1-7 Defining Integrity – Job 31:38-39 Mindful of the Beast – Deuteronomy 25:4 Defining Greed - I Kings 21:1-4 Ahab’s greed manifested over land Naboth refused to pass over his patronage 1Ki 21:2 Ahab spoke to Naboth, saying, "Give me your vineyard, that I may have it for a vegetable garden because it is close beside my house, and I will give you a better vineyard than it in its place; if you like, I will give you the price of it in money." 3 But Naboth said to Ahab, "The LORD forbid me that I should give you the inheritance of my fathers." 4 So Ahab came into his house sullen and vexed because of the word which Naboth the Jezreelite had spoken to him; for he said, "I will not give you the inheritance of my fathers." And he lay down on his bed and turned away his face and ate no food.
16
Man’s Stewardship 1. He is not to pillage the land 2. He is not to mistreat the creatures 3. He is not to reap without sowing

The Earth is Jehovah’s God has decreed that the earth will cease But the day of the Lord will come as a thief in the night, in which the heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up. 2 Peter 3:0
