North Tonawanda academy of health sciences
Presented by: Bill Breed, Katie Harrington, Jennifer Reed, Catherine Winston

Mission The Academy of Health Sciences provides students the opportunity to explore health science technologies and medical careers that prepare them with a 21st-century foundation for post-secondary education and workforce readiness. Members of the academy will participate in experiences that will aid in future career and college endeavors.

Purpose The purpose of The Academy of Health Sciences is to educate students in the fields of health, physical education, and medicine, as well as to prepare students for these career fields.  In addition, students will serve as ambassadors for the academy by attending field trips, organizing healthful events and visiting businesses involved in the fields of health and medicine.

vision To prepare students for a career in the health and medical industry through rigorous academic curriculum, career awareness, exploration, and preparation. The academy will provide an interdisciplinary academic program (Health, Science, Physical Education and FACS) to inspire approximately students in their pursuit to successfully complete the coursework required for college/university matriculation.
