1 Question 17

2 Question 17: The solution of a system of two linear equations is (-3, 1). On this coordinate grid, graph two lines that cold be the graphs of the two linear equations. The students do not need to use a calculator for this one. Unfortunately, the answers will vary depending how the students drew the lines. The only main thing is that the lines must cross through (-3, 1) on the graph. You might want to have students come up and show their answers. You might want to explain the scoring on this problem to the students because it is actually worth 3 points. 3 points: students graph correctly and write the correct equations 2 points: students will graph correctly and only have one right correct 1 point: the point is not at (-3, 1) but the equations are correct 0 points: student did nothing correct.
