2. Warm-up
Using point slope form, write the equations for the following lines.
A line perpendicular to y = 2 3 x – 6 and going through the point (-3, 4)
A line parallel to y = -4x + 13 and going through the point (2, -6)

3. Just a reminder… Point slope form – y – y1 = m(x – x1)
Parallel lines have slopes that are the same
Perpendicular lines have slopes that are opposite reciprocals
