Print out copy for each participant. Provide colored markers. Check printer settings to ensure 11X17, words grey-scaled back.
Allow 5-10 minutes for them to fill in the grid. Each should be several key words or simple drawings representing each category. Encourage everyone to have fun illustrating. Four categories can be changed: greatest talent, defining moment, personality, life goal, etc.
Once everyone is finished, hang them up around the room
Each participant then “presents” on their grid, sharing the “stories” behind their words. Time allotted is determined by the total time assigned to the exercise. 3-5 minutes each is suggested at a minimum.
Once everyone has completed, you can give them the option to display outside their office or in their cube as a reminder to others of what they learned in the session… and to spark continued conversation.
