1 Red lentil bake

2 Ingredients 200g red lentils 1 red pepper
100g reduced fat cheddar cheese 1 egg, beaten 2 x 15ml spoon low fat plain yogurt Small bunch parsley Back pepper

3 Equipment Saucepan Weighing scales Non-stick baking dish Knife
Chopping board Grater Measuring spoons Bowl Spoon

4 Method 1. Boil the lentils until cooked, about 15 minutes.

5 2. Drain the lentils.

6 3. Deseed and finely chop the pepper.
4. Grate the cheese. 5. Chop the parsley. 6. Crack the egg into a bowl and beat. 7. Mix all the ingredients together.

7 8. Pour into a non-stick baking dish.
9. Bake for minutes, until golden.

8 10. Serve. Top Tips Use a different type of cheese for interest, Stilton and walnut? Add flat-mushrooms, different herbs or vegetables.
