This month we will explore fun math facts from the animal world!
Can you guess how many different fleeces an alpaca will grow in a lifetime?
The answer is 20
Math - it’s the only subject that ‘counts’!!

9. Second Recess Wellness Break
Grades 5 to 8 students are welcome to come to the library for 2nd recess to have some QUIET down time.
The Wellness Break will allow you to settle into a quiet corner in the library to read a book, do some drawing or some quiet, independent activity.
No talking, chatting, doing homework, or technology allowed.

14. Cross Country Skiing Club
For those students who have already signed up, we are unable to start skiing this Monday because the trails are still not open. Hopefully, we will be able to start on January 21st. Any students who still want to sign up are asked to bring in your permission form and money to Mr. Brooks no later than next Friday. We still need a few students to give us the minimum number of 10 students needed to have our club this year.
