2 Figure Absolute neutrophil count (ANC) of an African American patient who experienced 5-fluorouracil toxic effects after the administration of FOLFOX (5-fluorouracil, leucovorin, oxaliplatin). Day 0 indicates the day of chemotherapy administration. The ANC quickly declined to 0 by day 11 after the administration of FOLFOX and remained at approximately 0 until 20 days after chemotherapy.
