The idea FORMAT: Live Performance/Narrative
Bar venue where M.G.B are performing to a crowd. People dancing and enjoying M.G.B’s performance. Young couple spot each other on the dance floor – initiation of attraction. As the song builds more the night progresses to show the couple going from first sight to first contact to first kiss for the climax.

Target Audience As M.G.B have such a diverse mixture to their music I feel their target audience varies depending on the song. The song “No Barriers” has an aspirational feel. With content of the video taken into a factor the target audience will be

Style and Techniques Style – Narrative, in concert/live performance
Techniques – To include close-ups of the band performance intercut with shots of the narrative story of the young couple finding love. The video will use fades, merges and blurs to help achieve the desired effects. Low shots will be used for some of the performance based shots to give the impression of a spectator looking up at the band and high shots will be use to enhance images of the crowd.

Schedule With nightfall happening earlier due to the time of the year, the video could be shot in a single evening. Multiple Cameras would be used to enable dynamic shots variations. During the day the set would be set up ready for extras and band to arrive mid-afternoon. Shooting would begin around 5pm until roughly 10pm.
11
Budget Between £100-£200 for sound, lighting and generators.
Depending on the equipment M.G.B has at their disposal, the rest can be hired by the day from Stagecraft. Other options for equipment hire are available, however prices need to be negotiated.
12
USP While many music videos play off the idea of young romance, “No Barriers” would play to the fact the band members have spotted the young couple and the start of their relationship. The video will reflect the history of M.G.B and their history of playing in publican venues.

About me I have received only distinctions thus far in this course.
I have made nearly 200 music videos since the age of 14 to present day. Please Enjoy.

Closing Comments & Questions?
While the production may have some large aspects to take into account, I do not think any of it is outside of the skills of the Year 2 TV and Film students. Any Questions?
