Personal Care Items Collection
On April 25, 2018, Norridgewock resident and Somerset County Sheriff’s Corporal Eugene Cole was killed in the line of duty. In his honor and memory, we recognize each April 25 as Corporal Eugene Cole Day. On this day, the community is encouraged to volunteer, give back, and get involved as a way to honor Gene and the service of law enforcement officers and their families.
Between now and April 25, drop off non-perishable food and/or personal care item donations at one of the following locations:
Canaan Town Office (277 Main St., Canaan)
MSAD 54 Superintendent’s Office (196 West Front St., Skowhegan)
Norridgewock Public Library (40 Mercer Rd., Norridgewock)
Norridgewock Town Office (16 Perkins St., Norridgewock)

Personal Care Items can include, but aren’t limited to
Deodorant, soap, shampoo, feminine hygiene products, toothbrushes, toothpaste, mouthwash, diapers/wipes, toilet paper, etc.
Donations received will be given in honor of Corporal Cole to the local food cupboard(s) and organizations that serve the community in which the donations were collected.
