5. Accelerated Reader
STAR Test taken at the beginning of each quarter to establish a reading range.
Students are assigned a Reading Goal based off of their STAR test scores.
Annual Progress Reports send home with Report Cards.
Diagnostic Reports sent home with Report Cards.
Goals to be met the Wednesday before the end of each grading period (Oct. 2, 2013).

6. Success in AR Choose book in reading level.
Read same book as a friend.
Write 2-3 sentence summary for each chapter on a flashcard.
Don’t wait until the last minute.
Read 20 or more minutes a night.
Read nonfiction

7. Rewards for AR Students current on AR goals are rewarded with:
