( 400 years to replace dead) Fewer people = Fewer WORKERS Workers travel to get higher wages – often to towns/cites. LAND no longer sole measure of wealth. Portable wealth = money, skills and services. Social, economic, and political structure of Europe was forever altered. One tiny insect, a flea, toppled feudalism and changed the course of history in Europe.
