Monday, 20 May 2019 Layers of the Rainforest L/O To investigate the layers of the tropical rainforest Starter Stick the rainforest diagram in your book. Try reading through the poem in pairs. Highlight any words you do not know. We will read it together shortly.

Try to explain why the rainforest is like it is.

Literacy Task You will now complete a piece of extended writing about the layers of the rainforest. In your group of 4-5 you will each write about a layer of the rainforest. Example The highest layer of the rainforest is the emergent layer. This layer is….
