All these verbs have special uses in Spanish.
GUSTAR, ENCANTAR, INTERESAR, ABURRIR All these verbs have special uses in Spanish. They are NOT like traditional “ar”, “er” and “ir” verbs. They are NOT used in all forms (yo, tu, el, ella, nosotros, vosotros, ellos)

These verbs only have two conjugations:
GUSTAR, ENCANTAR, INTERESAR, ABURRIR These verbs only have two conjugations: Singular gusta / encanta / interesa / aburre Plural gustan / encantan / interesan / aburren

Singular = singular nouns = infinitives
Plural = plural nouns = two or more singular nouns

The word order is actually “backwards”:
En Español…: The word order is actually “backwards”: The indirect object comes first: Me Then the verb: gusta Finally the subject of the verb: la playa. Make it negative by adding “no” at the beginning.

Pay attention to: 1.It only has two conjugations:
2.It is conjugated based on what comes after it. 3. It always uses an Indirect Object Pronoun.

To add emphasis , the sentence sometimes begins with a prepositional phrase that clarifies just who the IO pronoun refers to. I like… – A mi me gusta… You like… - A ti te gusta… He likes… - A el le gusta… She likes… - A ella le gusta… We like… - A nosotros nos gusta… You {all} like … - A vosotros os gusta… They like… - A ellos les gusta…
