Groups—vertical columns of elements with similar properties
Groups—vertical columns of elements with similar properties. Numbered 1-18. Elements in the same group have the same number of electrons in their outer shell

Periods—horizontal rows of elements that contain increasing numbers of protons and electrons. Numbered 1-17.

Your Job Cut out the pieces for the Candy Periodic Table.
Put them in an envelope (use the one you had for the timeline if you can find it!) Otherwise, I will give you one, but hold on to it next time!
