2 Luton’s Housing Strategy
We are putting together a new Housing Strategy for Luton It will align with the emerging Learning Disabilities and Autism strategy and Transforming Care work to facilitate appropriate housing options for this client group based on identified needs

3 Vision Our overall vision for the strategy is: Reflecting the aspirations of the Luton Investment Framework, Luton will be a vibrant and ambitious town which offers good quality housing for residents in homes and communities which support wellbeing, integration and opportunity

4 Four main themes Right Homes, More Homes Reducing Homelessness
Quality Homes and Neighbourhoods Supporting Wellbeing

5 Engagement with stakeholders
Before writing the strategy we undertook a lot of engagement across the town and we hope to get lots more involvement from people during the formal consultation period.

6 Next Steps The strategy will be going in front of Councillors up until 20 August 2018 Public consultation for 8 weeks Final version will be signed off by December.

8 Luton’s Learning Disability and Autism Strategy 2018
There is a new Learning Disability and Autism strategy being written for Luton coordinated jointly with Luton Council and Luton Clinical Commissioning Group.

9 Learning Disability and Autism Needs Analysis
Data will support strategy Inform current service delivery Identify need areas, gather evidence for recommissioning and highlight areas of local priority. Support market shaping and inform our Market Position Statement.

10 Where are we now? Co produced/ stakeholder engagement
3 workshops in June to look at; Accommodation and support Health and Wellbeing Work, Learning and Leisure
