Cardiorespiratory Endurance: The ability of the heart, lungs and blood vessels to supply tissues with O2 and fuel.

Improving Your Fitness Aerobic Exercise: Using large muscle groups for at least 20 – 30 min. at a time. (Cycling, swimming, running, dancing….) Requires O2

Improving Your Fitness: Anaerobic Exercise: Intense, short bursts of energy. (Running a sprint, weight lifting) Does not require O2.
