2. Homecoming Court 2019!
If you think you have what it takes to be your class’ Prince or Princess for the Homecoming Royal Court 2019, you are in luck!
All students who are interested in being a part of next year’s royal court, there will be an informational meeting on Tuesday, April 16th after school in the school library

The Gay – Straight Alliance will meet on Fridays from 3:30-4:30 in room 219

14. The 2019 Academy For Future Teachers
A three week summer STEM for Academy for Future Teachers is open to rising juniors and seniors or rising sophomores
It will be held June 3-21, 2019 from 8:00am to 1:15pm Monday through Friday at Georgia State University

16. Georgia Future Educator Signing Day
Attention Seniors!
Do you plan to be a teacher upon graduating?
If so, you are invited to participate in the Georgia Future Educator Signing Day on May 7th at the Henry County Board of Education

17. Georgia Gwinnett College
Attention Seniors: if you are interested in attending Georgia Gwinnett College in the fall, there will be a representative at DHS on Tuesday, April 30th to administer the Accuplacer admissions test
The cost of the test is $20 and you must sign up in the counseling office.

18. Sisters of Virtue Book Scholarship Class of 2019 Seniors
Sisters of Virtue is offering a Book Scholarship to Class of 2019 seniors who plan to attend college
Application is open to all DHS graduating seniors
The link to access this application will be sent out via Remind and posted on the DHS website.
Application deadline is Wednesday, May 1st
