TEAM CHALLENGE Let’s make slime! It’s not a solid, not a liquid... It’s both phases at once!
Steps:
Put on lab coat and goggles IMMEDIATELY
Add small amounts of water to the cornstarch in the bowl provided. Do this with a graduated cylinder.
NOTE: Add water very slowly and check the consistency constantly. If you add too much water, the activity will be ruined!
3. As you add water, stir the water into the cornstarch with your hands.
Try this:
A) Smack it! If you hit the mixture really hard, it might even break.
B) Pour it from hand to hand. If you go slowly, it will pour freely.
C) Roll it into a ball. If you keep rolling, you can roll it into a nice ball. Of course, as soon as you stop rolling, it will ooze and turn back into a puddle.
