Citing an encyclopedia is exactly the same as a book, except you include the “Name of the Article” in front of Book/Encyclopedia Title

13. Main Element #3: In Text Citation
Specifically notes WHERE in your essay you have used a source from your Works Cited page.
MUST be used whenever you have a Works Cited page.
MUST be used for direct quotes AND for paraphrasing or summarizing information from an outside source.

14. In Text Citation, continued
General format is: (Author last name and page #).
When no author is given, or page numbers do not exist (as is the case for web sites), use the first item of information listed in your Works Cited entry for that source for your in text citation.
Citations should appear at the end of the sentence where you have included info. from an outside source.
