Earthquake Drill Monday
Ugly sweater day is Friday!
We will be having a create-a-sweater competition in the morning, and kids are encouraged to dress for the season!
Please check your child’s planner nightly to see what we did that day.
Each student should read at least 20 minutes NIGHTLY. This small task can work magic on closing gaps in reading levels!
Please work with students on memorization of basic multiplication facts. I still have many students relying on charts or tricks. Higher math will be much less frustrating if facts are automatic.
Dear Parents,
It has reached the time of year where we are running low on some supplies. If you are able and willing, our classroom could really use the following items:
Pencils
Glue Sticks
Post-it notes for reading groups.
Headphones/ear-buds for students who do not have their own.

Social Studies: I can research and share information about early Missouri.
Math: I can divide with remainders and use my knowledge to solve word problems.
Reading: I can answer questions about nonfiction texts using evidence from the text.
Writing:I can create my rough draft from my graphic organizer.
