Even a Single Act of Kindness Can make a BIG difference…. Scientists studying positive psychology found that a one-time act of thoughtful gratitude produced an immediate 10% increase in happiness and 35% reduction in depressive symptoms. WHOA! Take a moment to remind yourself what gratitude is…. the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness The benefits of practicing gratitude are nearly endless. People who regularly practice gratitude by taking time to notice and reflect upon the things they're thankful for experience more positive emotions, feel more alive, sleep better, express more compassion and kindness, and even have stronger immune systems.
