Parking & Transportation Services ORGANIZATION Vice President of Finance and Administration Department of Facilities Management 4 full-time staff 3 seasonal enforcement staff Manage over 8500 parking spaces and issue over 11,000 parking permits each year

Parking & Transportation Services PARKING FUNDING System is self-funded NO state appropriations NO tuition, NO student fees Permit fees, pay lot revenue and enforcement revenue is used to provide snow removal, maintenance, operations, new construction, painting, equipment, campus street repair, etc.

Parking & Transportation Services ENFORCEMENT Agreement with City of Fargo terminates July 1, 2013 NDSU will collect all fines for citations written on NDSU property NDSU Parking Appeals Board will replace Fargo Municipal Court for 2 nd appeal

Parking & Transportation Services REGULATION CHANGES Bicycles riding on sidewalks to reflect City of Fargo Municipal Code (UPSO) Change Municipal Court appeal to NDSU Parking Appeals Board (PTS) Change fine payment from City of Fargo Auditor to NDSU (PTS) Retired Permit valid locations (PTS) Other housekeeping updates (PTS)

Falsifying registration information, reproducing, defacing, forging, altering, obscuring, transferring, and/or retaining and using a found permit will be subject to revocation of the parking permit and/or disciplinary action. is considered theft and fraud. The vehicle also may be subject to impoundment; criminal charges and/or university sanctions may be filed against the owner/operator in accordance with NDSU Policy, Section 169, and the Code of Student Behavior.
