Home Front Legacy 1914‐18 was a UK‐wide site recording project co‐ordinated by the Council for British Archaeology with funding from Historic England. The project enabled individuals, community groups, schools, youth groups and families to investigate their local area and record the forgotten archaeological remains of the First World War Home Front. Home Front Legacy 1914‐18 young persons' learning resources are available via These resources can be used to conduct a series of engaging and fun activities, to help younger generations engage with the First World War.
