6. Identifying Theme in Poetry
Review questions & theme of “Ode to My Socks”
Compare themes in “The Road Not Taken” and “Stopping by Woods” by Robert Frost. Use TPCASTT to analyze. (TPCASTT sheet is on the class website!)

7. Written Response
Using all three poems (“Ode to My Socks”, “Road Not Taken”, and “Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening”)
Identify one theme that is shared by all three poems (Hint: This has to do with the perspective of the speaker of each poem).
You may briefly explain your answer if you feel that the connection is not obvious or self-explanatory; however, your theme statement should make sense on its own.
