1. Safety Equipment
Fire Blanket – Located at side of classroom in the labeled cabinet.
Fire Extinguisher – Located near the classroom door
To operate the fire extinguisher remember P-A-S-S
P- Pull the Pin
A-Aim at the base of the fire from 5-6 feet away.
S-Squeeze the handle.
S-Sweep the hose back and forth across the fire.
Clothes Catch Fire?
REMEMBER: Stop, Drop, & Roll

2. Safety Equipment Eye Protection
Wear safety goggles when working with chemicals, flames, or heating devices.
If a chemical gets in your eye, notify the teacher and flush with water for 15 minutes using the eyewash.
Eyewashes are located near the sinks at the front of the room
