Figure 1 Pelvis score evaluates the presence of vascular calcifications in iliac and femoral arteries. Hands score evaluates the presence of vascular calcification in the radial and digital arteries. Calcification score is the sum of the presence (1) or absence (0) of vascular calcifications in each section. In this example pelvis score ( )=4 and hands score ( )=4. Total score is 8.
