2. Step-up Challenge
All pupils who signed up for the ‘Step-up Challenge’ for Comic Relief should come to PE to update your total on the score sheet.

3. Dalkeith HS Finish in 2nd Place at Midlothian Basketball Event
Congratulations to both teams who represented Dalkeith HS at last month’s Basketball event. In a very close final (which went to Golden Basket) one Dalkeith team finished the event in 2nd place!
If you are interested in playing basketball, please speak to a PE teacher to find out when clubs run.

4. Dalkeith HS Finish 4th Place at Regional Competition
A team of S1/2 pupils have finished in 4th place at the Regional Giant Heptathlon event. They qualified for this event by winning the Midlothian event, held in January.
At the Regional event, they competed against schools from Edinburgh, the Lothians and the Scottish Borders.
Their score from this event was used to calculate their placing nationally.
Dalkeith finished 20th out of 350 Secondary schools in Scotland - a massive achievement! Well done!

5. S1 Outdoor Learning – Final Outing!
The following pupils should pick up a reminder slip from the office now for their trip this Thursday.
