Fig 2 Interim monitoring results for efficacy and futility. Group sequential design plot shows the observed Z statistic across the interim analyses. By n=263, both Truview PCD laryngoscope (VLO2) and direct laryngoscopy with cannula (DLO2) comparisons with DL had crossed the efficacy (i.e. superiority) boundary for each primary outcome (time to 1% reduction in saturation and overall desaturation rate).
