6 RecommendationAction Create an action team Directors: Admissions, Records, Financial Aid, Student Success, Mktg/PR; AVP of IT, AVP, Faculty and Programs; Campus Director, 2 Faculty Members, Assistant Business Manager Create a learning team for Enrollment Management and Student Success Included tasks and goals under Action Team

7 RecommendationAction Introduce niceness as a guiding strategy. Be Nice Campaign: students, staff, and faculty; other stakeholders Model civility.

8 RecommendationAction Make business process maps to understand work flow and interaction Mapped admissions process: first-time college student, transfer student, and dual-enrollment student, as well as financial aid: Pell Grant Ongoing

9 RecommendationAction Create an enrollment plan Admissions and Recruitment Director and Mktg/PR Director have created an enrollment plan: Marketing/PR strategies Branded collateral Communications methods and messages Settle on a theme, but NOT tassel with no hassle. Theme: Get the tassel. Success starts here.

10 RecommendationAction Introduce metrics to each unit of student services. Generate regular reports. Develop the capacity to use data effectively in all efforts at the College. Begin the development of a datamart to provide data for communications and for research Ongoing concern Argos training: targeted reports Institutional Research staff has developed.

11 RecommendationAction Communication efforts of the College need to be enhanced. Communications processes/messages are under review; edit for accuracy, clarity, brevity and appeal. Held F2F meetings for relationship building & problem solving. Increased inter-department as well as campus communications. Used phone call center during high-volume time in summer. Admissions now has separate FAX number.

12 RecommendationAction Advising is the cornerstone of student success and engagement. Increased Right Start participation: 64% (851) of first- timers Revised Right Start materials.
