RecommendationAction Make business process maps to understand work flow and interaction Mapped admissions process: first-time college student, transfer student, and dual-enrollment student, as well as financial aid: Pell Grant Ongoing

RecommendationAction Introduce metrics to each unit of student services. Generate regular reports. Develop the capacity to use data effectively in all efforts at the College. Begin the development of a datamart to provide data for communications and for research Ongoing concern Argos training: targeted reports Institutional Research staff has developed.

RecommendationAction Communication efforts of the College need to be enhanced. Communications processes/messages are under review; edit for accuracy, clarity, brevity and appeal. Held F2F meetings for relationship building & problem solving. Increased inter-department as well as campus communications. Used phone call center during high-volume time in summer. Admissions now has separate FAX number.

RecommendationAction Advising is the cornerstone of student success and engagement. Increased Right Start participation: 64% (851) of first- timers Revised Right Start materials.
