Working Smarter with a Wiki
As teachers, what are our most valuable resources ? Time, Communication, Collaboration It seems we are constantly being asked to put one more thing in our day-We don’t want implementing RTI to feel like that.
7
Time We can all appreciate how difficult it is to schedule everyone involved in a student’s individual achievement. General Education teacher Special Education Teacher Title One Teacher(s) RTI and Literacy Facilitators Administration
8
Communication Communication is the exchange of information between individuals. Having the opportunity to converse, pose a question and get an answer is some days a luxury!
9
Collaboration Collaboration is the act of working together with one or more people in order to achieve a common goal.
10
The RTI Wiki to the Rescue
What if you create a Tool where each of the people involved in a student’s (or several students) can get together, in their own TIME, to converse, collaborate and share ideas. A place where you can pose a question, get help, and share what interventions are working?
11
Take a Look at our Wiki Please follow along as we share a developing Wiki with you. Remember, this is a place that you design to meet the needs of the professionals you are working with.
12
Questions & Answers Think about what types of information, resources and forms your school could use in a format such as this. What did you like? What didn’t you like?
