Do Now What do you notice about the handwriting samples you obtained?
Use two of the 12 characteristics of handwriting to describe them. Turn them in with your Do Now for the week.

A few things before we begin...
When you return from break: 1) Let's be adults and cut back on the horseplay. 2) Food will not be tolerated -- you don't want to be hanging out with mice in your classroom. 3) This classroom is a community -- we are in this together.

Assignment Tracker Every time an assignment is returned to you scored, write the assignment and what you received on your tracker. When you are absent, you need to ask about make-up work -- at the end of the period or during lunch. Some in class activities cannot be made up, that will require an absence excuse. The Do Nows cannot be made up.

Assignment Tracker Remember -- the wall tracker is just assignments.
The weekly Do Nows aren't tracked on the wall. There has been participation points and a binder check also. After this week we will have to erase it and start over.

Monthly Article Summary
Don't forget... It is due Wednesday of the week you come back after break.

Study for your quiz The quiz is scheduled to begin at the top of the hour. Use the remaining time to study your flashcards. Remember there will not be a word bank, so make sure when you see the definition you can recall the word. You may quiz a partner or work alone. As soon as I see you not studying I will give you the quiz.
