Internship Requirements
Maximum of 4 units earned under Humbio 197 120 hours of a single, outside of classroom experience Professional on-site supervisor Related to the student’s “area of concentration” or career goal Students must submit an internship proposal form to Humbio prior to beginning the internship Students must submit an internship performance evaluation form and 4-6 page internship report/reflection upon completion of internship

Have you and your colleagues share your career paths with the student Provide opportunities (e.g. conferences, lectures) that would teach the student about the breadth of your field Explain the purpose and value of even the smallest tasks Give students a sense of ownership over a project or a piece of a project
